iittala Verna glasses were designed by Kerttu Nurminen in 1998. Verna, Finnish for “Spring,” is a collection of beautifully pressed glass in clear and bright, bold colors that serve to inspire a relaxed environment while entertaining.
Nurminen’s career in glass includes functional as well as unique art pieces, and is marked by an unwillingness to compromise in her designs. Kerttu Nurmine’s work is presented in numerous museums and collections around the world.
