I bought from FinnishGifts.com because the prices were great, shipping was free for my order, AND they have a very reasonable return policy. Turns out my purchase was perfect, very safely packed. I would order from FinnishStyle again and recommend to my friends. Beware of other online merchants with rock-bottom prices, but restrictive return policies, high restocking fees, and unfriendly customer "service" rules.

I had actually gone on EBay looking for them. I did not know they were being produced. The wooden platter is amazing as well-very graceful-whimsical. I'm convinced I was Finnish in a former life! The only reason we made such a fuss about the packing is that we had ordered a set of the dishes here in Washington, and the place from which we bought them sent them to New Mexico by UPS in the original packages (two to a box) with no bubble wrap and no peanuts to buffer their journey. With the exception of one plate, they ended up in shards. After six months of futile effort to acquire replacements (the place where we had purchased the plates informated us that they had been discontinued) I called the Iittala distributor in New Jersey and learned about your Internet store. You obviously have much greater experience with regard to shipping.
