| Founded in 1926, Opa Oy is the oldest manufacturer of stainless steel household items in Scandinavia. Opa re-introduces popular Finnish designs from the 1970s and makes them relevant for today’s modern homes. These stainless steel plates, water kettles, and sauna sets are beautifully classic designs that display a brilliant and timeless sense of form and knowledge of materials.
Ulla Aspelund-Ingman designed many classic products for Opa. Her timeless and well-known sauna sets are made of 18/10 stainless steel with handles of heat-treated aspen and pine.
Timo Sarpaneva has long been one of the best-known Finnish designers. His Suomi Steel line is a collection of stainless steel household items designed for kitchens where top quality and functionality are appreciated.
