The Marimekko La Boca fabric is designed by young Finnish Marimekko designer Maija Louekari. Louekari's designs are rendered directly from her notebook sketches, which come from observations of the outside world; La Boca is named after an area in Buenos Aires. Bold colors, repetitive lines, organic rhythms, and humorous scenarios give movement and three-dimensionality to the tea towel.
