Marimekko's light blue La Boca fabric is designed by Finnish Marimekko designer Maija Louekari. Louekari’s design for La Boca came from sketches from her notebook and observations of the outside world. With bold colors, repetitive lines, organic rhythms, and humorous scenarios Louekari gives movement and three-dimensionality to an otherwise static and flat plane. La Boca in blue has reds, turquoises and browns, all which complement each other and give great life to the environment Louekari has created.
