The Summer Finch is a special limited edition release for summer 2009. This bird is the most vibrant that Oiva Toikka has brought to us in 2009 as it is apple green in color. As with most of the 2009 Toikka birds, the Summer Finch possesses tiny air bubbles in its body to give it a textured look but it is smooth to the touch. To complement the translucent apple green body, the head is clear with a rich green beak and a unique rose-olive tail that changes color depending on the lighting. The pastel colors, translucent body and rose-olive tail, make this bird visually stunning.
The Summer Finch has a production run of summer 2009 and only 212 of these birds are available in the U.S. Whether you’re a glass birds collector or just a fan of Toikka’s style, you’ll want to hurry and get this limited bird while supplies last.
