The stunning red flycatcher was the first bird ever created by Oiva Toikka. In celebration of Nuutajärvi glass factory’s 215th anniversary, iittala has decided to re-release this classic bird. The unique flycatcher has its wings lifted, as if about to take flight, a feature incharacteristic of most Toikka birds. The color combination is also striking: the wings are an ultramarine blue, the tail, a vivid green and the body, a vivacious red.
While many have admired Toikka’s first bird, few are able to call one their own. Now you can make Toikka’s classic flycatcher part of your own collection. Only 380 will be available in the United States, so make sure you take advantage of this rare opportunity.
