The Aino Aalto collection turns 75 years old in 2007. Aino Aalto originally called the glass collection that carries her name Bölgeblick. The word refers to the circular waves that are formed when a pebble is dropped in still water. The shape of the glass was inspired by this phenomenon, reflected too in the shimmering blues of this anniversary set. Aino Aalto glass design is timelessly contemporary and appealing. In accordance with the Iittala design philosophy, the collection combines beautifully with other Iittala objects.
